I know what your thinking, because I hear the normalcy bias, over and over again; the times have always been good and bad, yet life always goes on and normalcy is the prime manifestation of our lives. Yet Apocalypses comes to destroy a myriad of societies, stealthily sneaking up on the unsuspecting.
Life is hard enough already and you, you want to add End Times slaughter to the load I carry? Fuck you! Everything is going to be just fine. The enemy will be held back. The economy will stabilize. All of the weirdness that you observe every day, the zombies’ and Ghouls that inhabit your world will become human again.
Tell that to the giants and the debauched, as a light mist fell, heralding the coming flood.
Tell that to the Atlanteans, the most glittering culture ever, as it was swept under the sea.
Tell that to the rich children on the plain before fire from heaven fell.
Tell that to the Ukrainians in the Holodomor.
Tell that to the Russian bourgeoisie in 1924.
Tell that to the Chinese bourgeoise in 1966.
Tell that to the Cambodians under Pol-Pot.
Tell it to the Christians standing before the lions.
Tell it to the true believers slaughtered by inquisition.
Tell that to the Native Americans.
Tell that to Christ on the Cross.
The very Son of God was slaughtered, in the midst of a well ordered society of “normalcy.” As a part of the Roman Empire. Don’t you see how the End Times will come:
Matthew 24: 36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man….
One day follows the other in a mind-numbing cascade of play-acting within our roles. We scrounge about for a just a bit of joy. We try to raise and protect our families. All is well, for the many but those on the margins suffer; but their suffering does not affect me. So everything is normal.
Then BANG! It hits…sometimes you can see it coming but usually it’s a sharp break, that destroys everything that proceeded the moment; The moment that changes everything. Life goes on, day after day, as it always has and then the break. The forces holding the social structure together, the caution that guides political leaders to avoid war, circuits snapping, as the new paradigm of terror arises.
Yet look up! Something new is arriving from on high. A new way of being will envelop those whose hearts and minds are aligned with the One. We’re everywhere, and we’re waiting. We through our connection to the Holy Spirit are calling down a new structure for the Human. We are seen by our Father and Mother, as their love descends upon our heads and flows to our hearts, as we reach up to embrace them as the procession of light, guarded by angels, arrives to make all things new for us.
I would like things to go on as they are but do I really want to continue on within war, murder, genocide and hate. For me, I call down a new earth, where the presence and power of God, lights the souls of all, and the beauty of the gift is restored and improved, by the Human chosen to stay and prosper.
Be Strong, you must persevere for a little while, until the sorting out of the Spirit is completed, but you should know, the chosen Ones of God, are about to be doubly blessed.
Yet will you be able to discern the sheep form the wolves and will you recognize the Christ when he appears?
Luke 6
20 Looking at his disciples, he said:
“Blessed are you who are poor,
for yours is the kingdom of God.
21 Blessed are you who hunger now,
for you will be satisfied.
Blessed are you who weep now,
for you will laugh.
22 Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you and insult you
and reject your name as evil,
because of the Son of Man.
23 “Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.
24 “But woe to you who are rich,
for you have already received your comfort.
25 Woe to you who are well fed now,
for you will go hungry.
Woe to you who laugh now,
for you will mourn and weep.
26 Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you,
for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets.
