Then should I believe in One God; Should I believe in many Gods, or screw it, this is totally bonkers so I will believe in no God at all!
Well there are millions of people who worship the same God as me, so there is the great comfort of shared belief. Right? Then again, how can you be so sure that your Human beliefs are valid?
Has God ever strolled into your midst. Not a passing, wavy-gravy, feeling about God; has God him|herself walked among your midst? If not, how do you know? What’s the basis of your faith? This is important!
There are 2.4 Billion people who are nominal Christians in the world. The biggest religion on planet earth with nearly 30% of the worlds population. Can you imagine when 2.4 billion people start lifting off into the clouds. It ought to be quite the sight. Do you have room for one more to be translated into the sky?
Islam is the second most adhered to religion with 1.5 Billion people or almost 19% of the world’s population.
When you really begin to think about it; with your mind, the most logical course for the Human is to have no belief, and declare so from the depth of our beings…after all everything after this point is pure faith. From the materialist point of view, if I can’t observe it, I can’t know it. So why waste time chasing phantoms?
But 2.4 billion other people believe the same thing as me. There are god breathed scriptures edited by Constantine and his bought and paid for cohort. And, and, it promises me a one way ticket to heaven totally bypassing the place of pain and suffering appointed to the sinners. What a fuckin hook…can’t you see it.
Let me ask you a very profound question; would you still venerate your God and have faith in your religion if it didn’t employ the “hook.”
If you were to be an acolyte, and your religion taught you the proper way to live, yet there was no reward for proper living, would you still believe? Would you try to be good, since you are a failure at it even with the hook!
So back to the question; what if you’ve picked the wrong God…after all, there are hundreds of Christs to choose from based on denominational quibbling and disputes. The same with Islam.
Why does God have such a problem with invoking his correct self-identity within the Human? Why is the Human so misinformed.
And if God truly dwells within us, through our shared consciousness as taught in the East, then why does the Human have no understanding of the very God who is typing these words, with my hands?
Why don’t I intuit that the One is fully conscribed by my being and I by His|Hers.
Ah, if it was truly God, the spelling would be a hell of a lot more precise, right?
The point is, “you are so damn smug about this!”
I have god locked up over there; I keep Him in the church, in the mosque, in the synagogue, in the cathedral, where He belongs…away from my fucking real, every day life! Can you imagine having to deal with that bothersome prick every hour of every day. He would be a real downer to my life…right? I would have to change the Way I live, the Way I pass through the world. He|She would expect me to live my life differently and to treat people differently. But I am awarded a get out of hell free card with a big golden star upon it, if only I have my body sprinkled with water. Then I can wallow in the mud and be cleansed again and again; just like the car wash.
Does my religion have to focus on me and my needs in order to pique my interest?
“Am I right?”
“Jesus Christ, Son of God, Be Merciful to me a sinner.”
Maybe this prayer would be more profound: Jesus Christ, Son of God, Be merciful, and reflect your presence back upon me, as I am merciful to others. Teach me to perceive You in them!
Jesus came to teach us how to be a sacrifice to others in the same way as He was a sacrifice for us.
Don’t you see it?
So maybe I should become a Universalist or polytheist. Cover all the bases.
I have no idea where I am going with this, lost within my words, all over again. Why have I written this anyway?
- “Every one of the Human, is a Child of God. Every single one.”
- There is only One God and we are Him|Her manifest in individuated form; as a fractal portion of the One.
- All of the Human are connected by the indwelling of the One.
- God’s Love and Light shines upon us when we are still and do not seek to obscure the brightness.
- Our Mother cares passionately for all of the Human. She is fierce yet kind.
- I see God peering back at me from the eyes of every Human I encounter, even those who seem obscured by evil.
- I would trade everything I am, and everything I possess to be contained within the love engendered by the presence of the One in me.
- The One is “my best thought by day and by night,” and there is nothing that compares to the love that enshrouds God’s presence in us.
- The Pearl of Great Price, can be found within each and every one of the Human. Treading within the world, fully conscribed by the being of God within the Human.
- The One is drawn to interesting people, those who labor to find Him|her. People who cast an interesting shadow; those that are pursuing an inspired Way. Be bold in living your life. Attract the right attention in the Way your move through the world. Make God notice you (in a good way or bad if you must.)
This is the religion the Human should pursue: Be kind, especially to yourself. Be smart. Create. Resonate with the Heart of God within you. Laugh. Enjoy all of the gifts that flow within the intention of your being. Learn from your errors. Give yourself good gifts. Be Grateful. Enjoy the magnificence of the gift that has been given to you. And love God with all of your being and your neighbor as yourself.
Do this well.
This is enough.
You can’t pick the wrong God, when you know you are God incarnate in the flesh.
Know well that the “Flesh” and its enablers are seeking to murder the Godhood you hold within yourself.
This is the great game.
So live well and Rest within the One. Reflect God’s being, that dwells within you, into the world.
