Spirituality seems to always divide into two streams; 1) Into the stasis of a societally induced mass religion, full of symbolism, which is often a means of control by either the priest class or the political class 2) or the way of the Hero, who discovers that he/she is a living quest, and follows their heart within to ascend to heaven.
So why does the Human fall so carelessly into a religious philosophy? “Tradition”, “Family”, but none of it requires you to remain locked in. You can and should escape from the chains and fetters that were cast upon you by others, and boldly pursue the possible; the incredible possibility of the impossibility of the One. Once you are free, you still have the power to return and bind yourself again, to the warm blanket of easy believability of what you think you know.
Before there was the rich tradition of the Greek Philosophers, there was a strong current, of Spirituality from the Shamans of Thrace and other tribes north of Greece. There was a major impact around the year 500 BC which finds us in the shadow of Heraclitus and others. These early “philosophers” were connected to the traditions of the sky-walkers and the ability of our Spirit to ascend to the One.
This includes Enoch and Elijah and the Egyptian traditions.
“Men like Pythagoras, Heraclitus, Parmenides and Empedocles… resemble Siberian and American Indian shamans–that disappeared from the Greek world in the classical period…E.R. Dodds and others, following the lead of Swiss scholar Karl Meuli, have traced the outlines of Greek shamanistic tradition that has contact with Asiatic shamanism in Scythia, was evidenced in the eastern Aegean rim and in Crete, and crossed over southern Italy in the sixth century B.C. with Pythagoras, Parmenides, from Elea in southern Italy, was in this line; and Empedocles, a Sicilian was its last representative… A shaman is trained to undertake hazardous spiritual journeys in order to exercise compassion and advance wisdom, and he often reports his experience in the form of song, chant or poem.”
You might wonder why I obsess and ponder this and look for confirmation from ancient sources. Its because I want you to take the journey. I want you to become a sky-walker, a Theurgist, and I want somebody besides myself to personally experience anabasis. I want you, my fellow Human, beloved of God, to experience henosis for yourself.
Take the Journey! I have nothing to gain by bestowing this ideation upon you; but you have everything to gain within the hero’s quest to apprehend the One.
…religous historian Mircea Eliade has called the archaic ‘technique of religious ecstasy’ (Eliade, Shamanism: Archaic techniques of Ecstasy) Although as cultural historian Jeremy Naydler has pointed out, ‘the mystery of ascent to the sky is as central to the Hermetic tradition as it is to both Egyptian and Platonic mysticism. (See Naydler, ‘Plato, Shamanism and Ancient Egypt.)…”
Which would you choose if such a thing was possible? Can the Human through our own connection to the One, tread their own path to God? I am here to tell you that yes you can, and many have done so long before you incarnated within this life.
“Theurgy is a process of anabasis or magical ascent whereby practitioners such as the Neoplatonists,* (who split from Christianity despite common roots), including Porphyry and especially Iamblichus and Proclus, achieved henosis or mystical union with a deity, the Demiurge, or the One…Therefore, the only way to go, for Plato and his successors, was up– in an anabatic flight to the gods, the Demiurge and the One, through the various planetary spheres that separate the divine nous and Monad from the sensible world of appearances below. Theurgy was the means by which such an anabasis was accomplished.
You do see how this ideation of the path or way to God, would be condemned by organized religion who want to control their adherents with the laws and doctrines that keep them bound to the religion. The priests who want to keep the feet of their adherents firmly on the ground of materialism.
What kind of spirituality is that, which seeks to bind the Human so they cannot draw themselves in closeness to God?
God, the One is not a religion and nobody controls the One. I am here to declare in the name of my Mother that no religion on earth owns God. It is so sad, that you denigrate the majesty of the One, and bind the children of the One, to foolish paths that only lead away from the magnificence of the All flowing within every Human heart and soul.
In this moment, I ask you Father to free the victims of Human religious, intellectual ideas. Instead in this glorious moment in time, reveal yourself within all of the power, glory and love, with a direct current, emanating from out of you. Wake us from this Human dream unto You.
So since I ascended to the Empyrean, the Akashic or Ethereal realm, and I do understand that many people distinguish between them, but for ease of expression, I will combine them at will.
When I travelled on my “theurgic” journey, I was led by a being on my right, from which flowed an abundance of light and love, who drew all fear from out of me. I’ve wondered who this kind being was and I am now thinking it might have been the Goddess, the Divine Feminine, that drew me intimately within her own being.
The following is from Peri Physeos (On Nature) by Parmenides of Elea.
(1) The car that bears me carried me as far as ever my heart desired, when it had brought me and set me on the renowned way of the goddess, which leads the man who knows through all the towns. On that way was I borne along; for on it did the wise steeds carry me, drawing my car, and maidens showed the way. And the axle, glowing in the socket—for it was urged round by the whirling wheels at each end—gave forth a sound as of a pipe, when the daughters of the Sun, hasting to convey me into the light, threw back their veils from off their faces and left the abode of Night. There are the gates of the ways of Night and Day, fitted above with a lintel and below with a threshold of stone. They themselves, high in the air, are closed by mighty doors, and Avenging Justice keeps the keys that fit them. Her did the maidens entreat with gentle words and cunningly persuade to unfasten without demur the bolted bars from the gates. Then, when the doors were thrown back, they disclosed a wide opening, when their brazen posts fitted with rivets and nails swung back one after the other. Straight through them, on the broad way, did the maidens guide the horses and the car, and the goddess greeted me kindly, and took my right hand in hers, and spake to me these words:”
So it might of been the Goddess on my right, the Divine Feminine. So I’ve said elsewhere that Asclepius venerated me, but perhaps that is not so and instead he was venerating the Divine Mother; Yet he knelt in the flames directly in front of me, and questioned me telepathically, and dove head first into my flaming etheric form…so no he was venerating me. He was venerating the Human who had made the ascent.
I know, I know, I understand the incredulity but apparently there were many among the Neoplatonists who also made the ascent and wrote about it.
So why should not the Modern Human also ascend to the One? Are we not made of the same being as our ancient forbearers? Are we not as worthy as Siberian Shamans?
“Welcome, O youth, that comest to my abode on the car that bears thee tended by immortal
charioteers! It is no ill chance, but right and justice that has sent thee forth to travel on this way. Far,
indeed, does it lie from the beaten track of men! Meet it is that thou shouldst learn all things, as well the
unshaken heart of well-rounded truth, as the opinions of mortals in which is no true belief at all. Yet
none the less shalt thou learn these things also,—how passing right through all things one should judge
the things that seem to be…”
“…For thou canst not know what is not —that is impossible—nor utter it; for it is the same thing that can be thought and that can be. (6) It needs must be that what can be spoken and thought is; for it is possible for it to be, and it is not possible for what is nothing to be. This is what I bid thee ponder. I hold thee back from this first way of inquiry, and from this other also, upon which mortals knowing naught wander two-faced; for helplessness guides the wandering thought in their breasts, so that they are borne along stupefied like men deaf and blind…”
