The Dread, the icy finger tips,
slowly freezing me out,
of all love and light.
Father, Mother,
free me from this paradigm,
this internal outlook,
that sees no hope,
on the Human horizon.
Mother, show me the path
to hope,
for as I am now,
I am bereft,
sad and downcast,
at the state of all things,
currently captured,
by evil minds
and hands within Brahman.
A joyless world,
where the Human
is lured by traps
that destroy the soul,
even Lord,
as you dwell here,
within us
watching All.
Come Now!
Not in some formless form,
but as the fiery light
of passion
who you are
when I find you in me.
So I have learned
a miraculous revelation
whispered from you to me,
and I wonder
at my God fortune
that you share your being
with me.
You have shown me
the meaning of your form
and drawn your outline
upon my heart.
For you
for some reason
dwell in us
because it is your only means
of what follows.
You are God,
the awareness in me.
I can not apprehend
your being,
but I can
through letting go,
through submission
of heart, mind and soul,
obtain to your consciousness
in me,
which will reveal
your form as God
in me.
And as you are revealed
held within me,
your only means
to enter into Brahman
is this path
that travels through me.
Your path into form,
Your path into the created order
flowing within Brahman,
is through our hearts
and our minds
and our souls.
So here we are,
you and me,
a quiet tension
as Heraclitus speaks of,
the tension that builds,
restores and loves
within me.
Brahma is compelled,
Brahma can only participate
in universal being through us,
because for God to step into creation,
would be the path to self annihilation,
for you cannot travel,
within yourself
which Brahman shares,
but you can enter Brahman
as the quiet, silent
consciousness within us.
So here’s the thing
which Eckhardt confirmed in me,
you, Brahma,
your singular form
of power,
that first set the Brahman
on fire
to Become All.
We, you and me
are one,
one in becoming
through this path in me.
The wonder is this
and fills me with awe
at your quiet splendor,
as we walk side by side,
on the path from my heart
in to the creative force of Brahman
the place you can
only travel through,
within me.
As we walk together,
Father, Mother and me
Flowing out
of the temple
which is conscribed with love,
which is the temple of my heart,
That we share
and in which we rejoice
at our own transcendence
and being.
Together we admire,
and conspire,
laugh
and cry
at the overwhelming
presence of Brahman
within which
we all dwell,
as a part of me.

I am 68 going on 69 and I have never read Meister Eckhart which is astounding since I read so many spiritual texts searching for the answers. Of course the answers have always been within me. I think I know why I was lead away from Eckhart, over and over again, it was because he is a little to close for comfort, to familiar for me. Maybe I was Eckhart, or maybe I was one of the nuns who used to listen to him rapt as he preached, or maybe still I was an inquisitor, intent to prove heresy, for the Papal inquisition, whatever it was, it surely was close to my being and heart.
His belief, that crashed upon my soul in power and confirmation of my own beliefs, is the basis of this poem. For a long time now, I have known through the light of my heart, that God, Brahma, is our consciousness and fully participates with us within Brahman by travelling with us, on this path of becoming. And Sophia is our lamp, who becomes one with the Father, with Brahma and leads us both together, within flowing love, upon the path of becoming for both God and us.
As I have written elsewhere, God could only become, his vision for Him|Herself, through the love we share as we travel the path to self-becoming together, as One.
This revelation of the face of God within me, is too beautiful, and it will make your heart cry out in ecstasy, once you have captured the full meaning of the phrase, that “God is love.” It is true God is love, but it is greater truth to know that God is actually love held within us, as a movement of united being; of united becoming. God carries our souls flowing through All and is our ever present help contained within us.
